Question 1996 E320 Electrical Problems

My 1996 E320 developed all at once several problems:
1.- Tachcometer stoped working
2.- Cruise control stoped working
3.- A/C stoped working, but climate control pannel works perfectly.
4.- Engine Light came on along with Check Engine Electronics.
Does anyone have experience all the above items to stop working at the same time? Any idea what electrical component could cause all this items to stop working? The engine runs great. I will be retiving the computer codes in few minutes and I will post them for additional information.

Thanks

When a group of components all fail at the same time, I check all fuses and relays.

Should be labeled.

OVP relay comes to mind from other similar threads. But I don't have personal experience. (also not sure if your car even HAS an OVP relay). Do a search and see if that might be it.

OVP relay

I search and found out that this year 1996 E320 does not have an OVP Relay, and all fuses a in perfect conditions. The only relays that I have been able to identify in this vehicle are the relays control module located on the right side engine compartment inside the module/computer case.

thanks in advance for your help.

Any more suggestions??

I'm not sure of your model but my model has satellite fuse boxes in addition to the regular fuse box. Make sure you don't have one hidden somewhere. A circuit diagram would certainly help.

Do you have all the dashboard lights come on as what happens during startup?

1996 E320

All fuses are OK. On the 1996 E320 I have found the following locations containing fuses:
1.- underneath rear seat behind battery.
2.- Lefthand side of dash board (driver's door must be open for access)
3.- left side engine compartment close to hood hinges
4.- right hand side of engine compartment inside Module compartment part of the relay module.

All the light on the instrument cluster are working properly .

any other suggestions?

Thanks
