brakes-slk
I am changing the rear rotors. I have off the caliper and I am wondering how or what tool I need to get the rotor off. the center has a star like nut... does a parts store have the correct tool to remove?? any other advice would be appreciated. thank you!

slk brakes
look around the mounting flange where the lug bolts attach, you will see a 5mm allen bolt, remove the bolt and pull the rotor, it should come off fairly easy. let me know what happens

may be rusted at the hub, or the parking shoes may be too tight, you definately dont have to remove the axle nut to get the disc off.

Thanks for your help, it just took a few hits with a hammer and a piece of wood and fell off!
