I have a 1995 SL320 that will not start. When the remote control transmitter button is pressed only the green rear view mirror light comes on and both lights on door lock flash. The central locking works fine but the car will not start.

This has happened before and re-synchronisation prcedure corrected this. But this time it seams a little different as the indicator lights do not flash at all. When trying to start the engine the green light on rear view mirror only flashes.

Can the immobilizer be by passed. i do have two additional small keys, are these for the immobilizer?

Any ideas? Help!!!!
