Need help with stalling 1989 300TE

Here are two more off the wall ideas.
Fords of that era had an impact switch that shut off the fuel pump in case of an accident. Did MB use something like this?
Or maybe a check of the oil pressure and shut off the fuel if it drops below a certain value?

Keep in mind I've never owned anything but 114s
