What does it mean when the SRS light comes on and stays on for a couple minutes? 95 C280

Probably a fault code stored.

It means you have a non safety related fault. Usually these are belt buckle sensor problems. The bags will still work in this condition but can possibly be set off at a lower crash threshold.

Thanks...I'm going to have it in for a check up soon...need to get the speedometer and tach checked too...see my other post
