O2 Sensor Change?

I need to replace the O2 sensor on my 89 300TE and it appears the wiring goes up through the floor under the console. If so how do I remove the console? I see no visable screws?

From the sensor, the insulated wires go thru a rubber grommeted hole in the tunnel and the actual plug connector is under the passenger side, under the carpet and pad. You may have to lift the tunnel carpet, which can be done after lifting the floor carpet.
