90 300ce hard starting problem
Hi all and thanks for reading. My 90 300ce for the last 2 or 3 days has taken excessive cranking to get started. It seems to me to be a lack of fuel and I'm wondering if it might be the fuel accumulator. (I have the factory service manuals and of course they don't explain anything about system operation, let alone troubleshooting)
I have tuned up the car within the last 3 months, including new fuel filter, o2 sensor, plugs, rotor, cap, etc. and otherwise the car runs smooth, gets good mileage, and never even hiccups during all driving conditions. I forgot to mention that this hard starting condition has occured when the engine is warm and cold. Thanks in advance for any advice on this. Jeff |
