Dealer repair codes

Anyone have the repair codes that dealers use? I am trying to determine what all has been done to my car from the repair records that the dealer has provided. There are pages and pages or I would just ask the service rep. to decypher it for me. Thanks.

Post the year and model of your vehicle. This will help those who might have such codes. If you have a CD for your vehicle or the MB repair manuals, you can decipher the codes.

Every service task has a code that's displayed at the start of that task in the hard copy manual or CD.

The following may or may not help.

The dealer service records and the repair CD codes do not match. On some of the entries of the dealer records there is a line that tells what was done such as "4201 - renewed brake fluid" but the repair CD lists that job as "42-0010 - bleed brake system, renew fluid". The numbers are similar for that but there are other codes such as 11m; 4205m; 20746270; 10N; etc.
There is absolutely no rhyme or reason. I also looked at the previous thread and went to that sight. The codes are the same as the CDs.
Anyone have any idea about this?

Be it one entry on a work order or pages & pages, the only place to get an answer is from the place that created the work order.

Go back to the dealer and ask them to explain it. Pretty simple.
