Figured out 16v idle problem
Well, my father in law figured it out actually. Attached is a picture of a homemade resistor someone connected to the engine temp sensor. The resistor was bad and was giving bad signals to the computer. My 16v idle was all over the place and never below 1300 RPM's. It would sputter below 4k RPM's at full throttle and run really bad at cold temps. After removing the resistor he was able to adjust the mixture properly. I can't believe the difference. The car is a joy to drive now, idles just below 900 RPM's, very smooth and powerful. I am stoked!
