Unfortunatly it appears my 560SL will need the transmission overhauled see my post about marble noises in the transmission. I am looking for good manual for this transmission and a good source of parts. Unfortunatly transmission overhaul is not covered on my CD manual.

Automatic Transmission Service Group sells a rebuild manual for 722.3s and .4s, about $25 I think - atsgmiami.com or 800-245-7722.

Thats what I used for my Fords. they are $21.50 for the 722.3s and .4s. They seamed to be OK and got me through both of my Taurus overhauls without a hitch, but I wasnt sure if they cheep out on the forigen stuff, like Mitchels does. Have you actually seen the MB manual.
