engine surging at idle, poor gas milage? - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Two weeks ago I noticed that my gas milage went down 40% and the engine started surging at idle about every 3 or 4 seconds. This happened right after I changed the fuel pump and o2 sensor. Anyone have any thoughts on what the problem could be???

Why did you change the fuel pump and O2 sensor? Sounds like one of the 'new' parts may not be good, or may not have been needed.
