1989 300TE light dimmer switch

I'm a new owner of a 1989 300TE wagon. The lights on my dashboard are rather dim. Is there a light dimmer switch for the dash. Can't seem to find one and there's no info in owner's manual. Any help is greatly appreciated. Jay
