stalling out of nowhere/1973-450sl
I ran the car on saturday and attempted to chage the heater valve in firewall but stopped as I saw the hose in the dash will need replacing. I refilled the coolant tank, started the car and put her back in the garage. She ran fine at that time. On thursday I started the car to take her for inspection (DMV) and she startedr oughly and died. I started her again and she died. This process continued for a while and I noticed a creaking or clicking sound as if some eliectical componant was trying to connect. When the car start it bucks and appears to be choking out. I need help-----helllp,thanks

hmmm, I would check everything in the area of your prior repair, could be your cold start injector maybe you knocked off a connection or something while working on it before. I knocked off a vacuum line once and my car would not run properly either, took me awhile but I found it and it was fine. If after you determine that everything is intact start with the common problems, like the fuel filter. Check to see if all your ignition wires are ok, you might have knocked some off or loosened them. Check them at the distributor as well. Another item to check is the connector to the temp sensor. Good luck!
