Rub-a-dub, Wheel Carrier Or The Hub?

First time threader/poster...please be gentle!

Patient is a used 94 E320 wagon. 160K miles, last 60K are all mine. Sweet ride.

R/F wheel making rythmic noises equal to speed of vehicle. Guess was locked or frozen caliper.

Did the following to both sides:
1. Thoroughly inspected and cleaned everything.
2. Rebuilt the caliper.
3. New bearings, races, grease.
4. New rotors.
5. New pads (sensors, etc.).
6. Bled the tiny bubbles.

Problem: Reassembly job done, I was adjusting the bearing freeplay on the right front wheel. While turning the wheel, I noticed the new outer pad would rub a six inch arc on the outer perimeter edge of the new outer rotor. It's easy to see when both parts are new, a polishing effect takes place. No similar problem with the left front side.

Thinking this through, the ergonomics would lead me to guess there might be a truing defect in the wheel hub (carrier). Maybe the former owner bumped a curb in a sideways slide, pothole, sewer, etc.

Learned teachers, I, the grasshopper, humbly come before you requesting the benefit of your celestial wisdom...

Thank you.

Welcome to the fray FRANKNBENZ,
Quick suggestion before you go too far in analyzing, try rotating the wheels front to back and see if you have the same noise. I'm not suggesting this is the problem but it could be and it is easy to do and eliminate that scenario. After that you can look for lazy calipers or out of true rotors.
Ciao,
