Check engine light on
I had some door work done on my 1998 E300DT requiring disconnecting the battery. When I picked trhe car up, the check engine light came on together with "check engine electronics". The car was not driven at all during the repair and the check engine light was not on before. I had to reset the windows and the sunroof to work, so presuming the computer just has to be reset for the check engine light/check electronics to go off, is there a way I can reset it myself or do I have to go to a MB shop to have it done?
Thank you in advance for any advice. rsl007 |

The shop that performed the service should reset the codes. Dealerships ream you for this service unless you are having other work done...
