SLS elimination
The acumulaters went in 1994 E320T and my mechanic quoted me 1100$ to get them replaced. the local MB dealer (sacramento) said they wont ven touch it. the mechanic said he could convert it to basic E320 sedan shocks for 400-600$. he told me MB said its possible. I was wondering how hard this would be for a DIY and what it would involve. do I have to cap the lines, ect. he said the shock mounts are different.

Id trust my mechanic to do this conversion more than myself but hes having some problems. any info that i could pass along to him would be great especially regarding caps and shock mounting.
Also is 1100$ high to replace the Acumulators. would this be easier to DIY than the conversion. Thanx |
