94 C280 Colgged Drains
After fixing a mono wiper failure, nut fell off transmission shaft; I noticed the cowl drains are not doing their job. Cleaned the center one OK, but the passenger side drain is still clogged.
The drain is a 3/4 inch hose that disapears into the fender well. The bottom drain opening is clear at the rocker panel just aft of the right front wheel. I tried the usual tools from the top. Do I have to remove the right front wheel well inner fender to get to the bottom of the drain to clear it? BTW, after cleaning and lubing the mono wiper, it runs better, so if you have any MB with the mono wiper, keep it clean and lubed.

I've never tried cleaning the drain hoses in my 300E, but in my '67 Fiat Dino Coupe, I ended up using a water hose (with a high-pressure tiny-stream nozzle) in addition to an air compressor to blow all the junk out. They haven't clogged since.

Thanks, that sounds better than trying to unbolt everything.
