R129 Thermostat Replacement

Hi all,

I was wonderning if someone could write me a little DIY on how to replace a thermostat in my R129 (1991 500SL)

I'm assuming its my thermostat, As far as I can tell my fan clutch is fine, and the read temperature in the console has been creeping up higher and higher, and now, when the engine's cold, its reading at like 110 degrees C.

I'm not the most car savy, but I'm trying to get into it -- so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
~drew
