running a bit hot

hello my 91' 300ce 24v water temp is running a bit higher when stuck in traffic ,is my fan clutch failing to work ,i noticed it is easy to spin my radiator fan when veh is off obviously,and experience a similar problem many years ago with my 89'420 sel any help would be greatfull,thanks

It is supposed to run warmer in traffic than when on the highway. What temps are you seeing in traffic?

temp just keeps going up , im afraid of overheating just had timing chain replaced car runs perfect is it possiblecollant mixture is to blame i put the clear stuff in it
