thank you, managed to get the bracket off with ease. I used a small allan key wrentch to hold the pully in place. The bracket you show in the picture does not have the small pully on it. How do I go about removing that from the bracket. I almost threw mine out, but kept it thinking I might use that pully on it. I see that its screwed in, so does the face of the pully pop off??

....
Yes. Just pop it off, but don't loose it, the pulley will die quickly without the cover. There is an allen bolt underneath.

Also... whats the condition of your main pulley... after the scraping?

Also... this is a great time to clean of the front of the block... got rid of oll the grimmy build up that I had there. Real easy to change the rotor and cap if thats in the works as well.

Ahh thanks guys, yes unfortunately the clutch pully rubbed against the crankshaft 'pully' and since the clutch pully is a lighter metal pretty much destroyed itself, the edge (aft) are worn off, so a new pully is also in order now.

So for I have bought the following items:

Radiator ($304 cnd funds shipped to door [adsitco])
Fan clutch ($139 from ********az)

Parts i need to order:

Clutch pully ($30.10)
Belt ($19.58)
Bearing Bracket ($135.8)

Do you have an owners manual? Should be in there.

Just found a pic of the "special tool" on ebay. Just a bent piece of wire.

As someone else said, a small allen wrench will do the job, but I found the longer wire to be easier to hang onto.

HTH,
