Specialty Tool #126 589 02 14 00 for tranny

I'm looking for the specialty tool #126 589 02 14 00. It is the inside sleeve for installing clutch piston K1 - 58mm. Anyone know where I can get one of these for my mechanic. He has tried ordering this from MB but it has been on indefinite back order and is getting no response for MB.

Any help is appreciated...thank you!

Is this a special tool or is it a part?

Thank you very much Mike. I have been checking Sir Tools, but nothing yet. I'll try your suggestions also.

Thanks again!

Know where I can get a tranny for a 92 400E?

Thank you Mike, but it appears all those sites have the same tools...and of course not the one I need!

Anyone have one I can borrow for a fews months to rebuild a tranny?

Sometimes a call to Baum Tools will yield something that the website doesn't show.

I called Baum and Performance and neither had it. Baum said they have the number in their system, but have never had or made the tool. Peter said he would also have to order it straight from MB.

He also said try finding the tranny manufacturer and see if they have the tool, sometimes they will have what you need. That is my next step.

Thanks for all your help!

Through all the searching for this rediculous tool, Phil had a line on it the whole time. He was out of his office when I called Friday, and he just called me to say he found it. The tool number was an old one so my mechanic is calling him now so he can begin the rebuild on my tranny.

THANK YOU Phil! This place is incredible!
