Hot Soak

Any one hot soak their 300E on this forum? I normally use Ventil Sauber into the intake to decarbon the intake valves. If so, what port do you introduce the chemical into the ports?

You may have to define Hot Soak as the term as I know it refers to what happens in the first few minutes after shutting down a hot car. It refers to fact that after the water pump stops the motor gets hotter for a while and causes nasty little things like fuel boiling.

It sounds to me like you are refering to a decarbonizing process, which would be best done hot.

Yes

I run it hot then introduce the chemical into the intake. Let it sit for an hour or so and let the smoke show begin.
