W124 Parking Brake Pad R&R - I Give Up>
I tried to replace the pads on my 1994 E320 Wagon. I had the kit from FastLane, and the pages from the shop manual that describe this. I did not have the special tools described in the manual. It was not too hard to get the old springs off. It was impossible for me to get the new parts on with their springs. There must be some whiz-bang special tool or technique I am lacking. I did a search of this bb and found little to no info. The reason I was replacing the pads was the drivers side one had broken into about four pieces. This has not been a good weekend - tranny will need rebuilding too!
