Looking for Gas Shocks for Trunk Lid

Called the dealer looking for the gas shocks that provide resistance when you open and close the trunk lid. They quoted $49.88 each.

Can't find online anywhere, including the sponsor of this BB. Any suggestions where one might look?

Risking redundancy, it's a E320 Convertible.

Thanks,

Dave

Try finding a dealer with on-line pricing if Phil can't help you!

There are 2 different part numbers depending on the chassis number!

124-750-05-36 for cars upto C071634 (mid year 1994)

124-750-07-36 for cars from C071635 (late 1994 & all 95's)

BTW MB list price shows $29.50 for either part!!!!!!!!
