Sun Roof -what is thread size of nut ?
 Can anybody tell me the thread size of the nut which is behind the plastic nut (In the trunk) that manualy operates the sunroof ? Took the striped nut to several automotive stores but nobody seems to have a replacement?

Just get a hold of a tap and die set and there are standard and metric thread size/pitch gauges in there. Any garage mechanic should have a set.
