420SEL Sun Roof Tilt Problem

I adjusted my sun roof so that the back edge is 1 MM higher than the roof. I thought I put everything back together properly. It opens and closes properly but now the tilt no longer works. When I try tilting it rises maybe an 1/8 inch. Anybody have any idea what went wrong?
