Differential bushings
The bushings(horizonal) that hold up the differential are worn out...I have the new once.
My qustion is...How do I remove the old bushings. Is there a DIY out there who has replaced those bushings. Thanks in advance |

Yes I've done it. You must have a puller. Don't even think about trying to drive them out with a hammer. You would destroy the sheet metal subframe carrier.
If you have access to a metal lathe, you can make a puller like my brother in law did. Otherwise, you will have to find one from an aftermarket tool maker or from your MB dealer. Also, pay close attention to the orientation of the old bushings before you take them out and put your new ones in the same way. Otherwise they won't last very long. Good luck, |

I've seen ppl carefully cut the shell with a hacksaw blade...
Press the new ones in with a socket, bolt, washers... Much easier with a tool or making a good fitting tool. Michael
