sl500 speedo problem
I own a 95 sl500. The speedo reads much faster than the car is going, about 50 to 60 mph. It has stock wheels and tires and I believe it's all stock. I have NO idea where to start with this. Any advice.
Thanks Nick!! |

Cable or electronic? If it was this way when you bought the car I'd say someone just put the needle back on in the wrong place. Or it could be a swapped speedo in which case it could be recalibrated by a speedo shop.

Thanks for the info. It's electronic. It sure looks like a big job to move that needle but I have consulted with a sppedo shop .
Thanks again Nick |
