M119 Vacuum Line ID please
Hey guys,
1994 E420 What is THIS [caution, 1600x1200 pict] part called and what does it do? You see that vacuum line? Can anybody tell me exactly where the other end goes? The line cracked and with the very lightest of tugs, the whole length came out revealing a totally destroyed rubber connector on the other end. The part you are looking at is located on the driver wide wheel well. The vacuum line leaves there and moves under the driver-side distributor cap and into a small, dark, deep hole. You can imagine my panic when this happened. PLEASE don’t tell me I have to remove the manifold. |

If I recall correctly...
The other end of that can be reached but I think the throttle body would have to come out...My rubber boot was good enough that I inserted a new vac. line into it through that front gap underneath the intake manifold....and the other to the ignition coil (that is for 92 400E)
