W126 Window Hell
Window stopped going up straight (went up at 45 degree angle) so I just let it go down all the way and left it at that. Took off the door panel once I got some free time and prayed that the window regulator didn't crack. It didn't, but it looks like some plastic piece that holds it in place did. It is made up of two plastic pieces with a two nuts, a bolt, and a washer. Not exactly sure if the motor is supposed to be at the bottom of the door, most pictures show it vertical. I may take the passenger side door panel off for reference.
I think it mounts here? ![]() ![]() |
