89 560SEC wont start

Well, with all the great help I got on the a/c blower issue I want to thank all those who helped and everyone was dead on. I was the blind 48 year old with cheap glasses that didn't see the break in the strip fuse that my 11 year old son found immediately. Blower works GREAT!!!!!!!

NOW.... the car will crank but will not start. I have messed with every fuse and relay on the car. What controls fuel and spark? What is the relay with the 10A fuse built in under the clear plastic hinged lid at center of car behind first firewall? What is the silver box on the pass. side kick panel? What are the two relays in the center of the vehicle behind the first firewall? I have screwed this up somehow somewhere. What to do?

I figured out that the fuel pump is not energizing and that one of the black boxes on the first firewall is the fuel pump relay. How do I troubleshoot.

Thanks

Steve

Smile Done deal

Finally, after checking every fuse and relay, etc and soforth the reason the car wouldnt start and there was no power to the fuel pumps was the 2 red wires that connect to the positive side of the battery. The smaller nut thats secures the two wires was loose and not making contact. Tightened up the nut and she started right up. Thanks to everyone who helped with my electrical issues. I now know 10 times what I used to know and that is 1% of what you guys know.

Thanks again

Steve Katz
