560 Exhaust Crossover Pipe
I'm facing the replacement of the entire exhaust system in my '87 560SEL later this summer. Figuring out everything behind the engine is rather straight forward. However, sometime during the life of the car, a PO replaced the crossover pipe that runs from the rear of the left manifold to the rear of the right manifold with a piece of generic flexible piping. I'd like to replace this as it looks to be in pretty bad shape and I believe is leaking.
Can anyone recommend a good source for the correct pipe or an acceptable flexible substitute? I'm thinking salvage yard here as the price I've been quoted for a new one is around $450 ![]() Thanks, jlc
