210 a/c sensor fan replacement?
I've got a E300D, '97, with a squeaking sensor fan. Does anyone know how to acces and remove this fan. I've replaced the blower fan and relay some time ago and it is working fine. Would appreciate any help or diagrams if available. Thanks

Removal of the dome lamp assembly is the only thing that you will have to do.

different?
I did not realize the sound was coming from above. I know the sensor has been in the dome on previous models, but the fan was below in the glove box area.
Any special instructions for dome light assembly removal?

removal of dome light assemb.
Removed dome light and the fan appears to be working fine. Not sure the squeeking is from there. Squeeking is intermittent and seems to disappear when AC fan speeds up to higher level. I replaced the whole a/c variable fan assembly about 2 years ago. Sometimes no squeek for hours at a time. Hmmm. Only happens with a/c on cooling. Any other fans to check?
