Thread Size For Oil Temp Gauge/190 2.6

Greetings from Tucson (it snowed here yesterday..big deal for us.) I'm installing a VDO oil temp gauge on my 190 and wondered if anyone knew the correct thread size and sending unit. Probably just go with the VDO cockpit "Black" series since it matches the other VDO gauges. Also..who has the best prices on VDO?
