91 420 Stick shifter bent
Hey Guys, Quick Question!
We just got the 91 420 back from the shop, we were rear-ended and the car was totaled, but we were able to force the one at fault to pay the repairs and the car looks great. It's been gone two months. We we got it home we noticed the stick shift is bent and twisted a little, as if someone steped on it while the windshield was out. Does the stick lever screw into something or is it bolted into something? The knob is now off center and looking at the 1:00 position. Can I replace the stick shaft under the knob? We were so happy to get the car back, the shift knob we thought was just twisted, but it looks like the shaft is bent toward the driver.\ Thanks
