replacing fuel pump
My 1988 260 MB needs to have the fuel pumps replaced. I have heard there are two, is that correct. Can anyone tell me where the second one is located? I know there is one next to the fuel filter under the chassie of the passenger rear seat. Is it possible to change just one?

If there are two pumps they are located right next to each other. In the w124 (260e is what your referring to?) I believe (but am not sure) that there were cars with a single pump. It could be that you've only got one pump.
