1990 m119 will not turn over
Yesterday installed bosch platinum plus 4 plugs.
Car started and idled ok for 2-3 minutes. I turned it off to do some other work and now it will not engage starter. I have since read all the negative posts re: platinum plugs and want to know " Is there a relay or sensor in this 500 sl that would sense a high current draw by the ignition system and shut starter circuit down"? I have been having intermittent starter switch problems recently and am worried my choice of plugs blew something else up? Thanks dan |

Probably a coincidence but I'd get rid of the plugs anyway.
