86 300E 124.030 with manual transmission. Rear driveshaft bushing.
I believe driveshaft bushing is the correct name for the centering sleeve that protrudes from the end of the 3 legged flange in the rear of the driveshaft. I drilled the old bushing, put in an old head bolt and pryed it out. The replacement bushing is longer than the old one. 43.6mm versus 51mm. I wonder if this will affect lubrication of the centering pin as the extra space will allow the grease to remain in the front of the bushing. If anyone knows, I could get this job done this weekend, otherwise I'll have to wait. Thanks in advance!

The part number on the old one is 201 410 03 32. The new is 124 410 07 32. Makes me wonder if the old one is correct.
