Does anyone know where I can get maint. manuals for my 1994 S320? I contacted Mercedes Corporate H.Q. here in the States and was told that maint. manuals were expected to be produced in a CD Rom version sometime in the future. When I asked to obtain a printed copy I was told that since Mercedes planned on producing the CD they never bothered to produce a printed version. Can this be right? Is there an alternate source of accurate technical information on my car?
Thanks for your help...D.

I have the collected set of diagnostic manuals & wiring diagrams all that in loose-leaf format for the W129 & W140 cars. Some of it may be relevant to you. They were dealer only items.

I also have the Information Access CDs, which are classroom service training material. They give you an in-depth look at the car w/o actually getting your hands dirty. In other words, they don't tell you how to change your oil, they just explain were it goes once you put it in.

Do you have a Info Access CD for 140 chassis CTH? I currently have 10 discs (when I get the 203 back from Larry), but I don't think 140 chassis is in the group. Could be wrong.

All the Diagnostic Manuals and ETMs are available from MB at 1-800-FOR-MERCedes. Most dealers won't supply this info.

What, somebody else actually admits to having these things?
I've asked on this site at least 3 times and nobody would fess up to it.

You're right, I don't have the IA disk for the 140, but the looseleaf bound diagnostics for the 129 also cover the 140 according to their binder covers.

You must have early binder labels as the version I have that was supplemented through 1997 combined all chassis into expanded volumes. The engine one has four volumes separated by system type and then engine type.

For cars after 97 we get the same info off the WIS Workshop Information System, a CD-Rom based system.
