190E sash warning light
I just inherited a 1992 190E without the owners manual. A warning light on the dash keeps flickering on and off. It looks like a circle with arrows going around the circle. What is this warning light for and should I get the car to a shop immediately or is it somehting I can fix. None of the local car repair shops ( only see american cars) know what the waring light is for.

The front brake pads have worn to the point where the electrical sensors are triggering the light.

You've got a thousand miles or so before you NEED to replace them. 500 before you start to worry. Also, you're going to have to replace the brake pad wear sensors. I believe that once they are triggered, they can't be reused?
Also, my light just came on. I could've sworn I did them the other week, but checked my binder and it's been a year and a half. Wow. |
