I have a 1990 190E 2.6 that I purchased as an abandoned vehicle. There has been discussion with the origional owner (w/ the towing company, not myself) and the title was promised to cover towing fees. I do not believe he will come through w/ it. Does anyone know if there is any way to get a title for a post 1990 car? I know several services that will obtain titles for anything 1987 or earlier and you can get one from the DMV here in NY for anything pre-1990 . Figures.
I don't suppose that anyone has a wrecked 1990-1993 2.6 and would like to get rid of the title .
