Convertible Top
I Am Working On A 2000 Amg Clk430 And The Top Keeps Blowing Hydraulic Lines And Cylinders, Any One Have Any Ideas??????

Is the top binding up? Can you move it about freely by hand? that is strange, can you test the pressure of the pump to see if it is within range? that is a hard one.

I would think that if you have hydraulic lines rupturing than a pressure regulating valve would be suspect, has the system been pressure tested?150 bar is specification. You can try checking the safety bleed valve to see what position it is in. Please refer to the "Owners Manual" for location and precautions regarding this valve.
