I pulled the radiatior on my 1980 300SD to have it recored. It was a little more of a challenge than I expected. For some reason I did not expect to drain the oil and transmission. And I can see there are many other things to be done. Like fix lots of rust. It also seems like it might be a prime opportunity to do other things.
I know to straighten all of the fins on the coolers. What else should be done at this time? Should anything be done with the engine oil cooler? Thanks again for any help.
