NEW 300SE OWNER Please HELP
Hello, Today I had water come out of my rear seat vent (ALOT). The AC was on for about an hour and I am in FL. Any ideas? I just bought a new fuel filter. Is there any special proceedure to change it. Thanks for the help.

There's at least 3 distinct 300SEs - it would be helpful to indicate which one you have.

Sorry about that. I have a 1989 300SE with 165000 on it. Thanks for the reply.

On the AC check to see if the drain hose on the driver's side of the console, under the carpet, is open and functioning. The fuel filter is no big deal. You're supposed to depressurize the system first, by removing the fuel pump relay and turning over the engine a few times, but it's not absolutely necessary. You should disconnect the battery while you're working on it.

Thanks for your help. Is the drain plug in the front or rear foot well? Can I get to it from under the car or do I need to pull the carpet? Some one told me there are 2 fuel filters is this true. Thanks agin.

Front foot well. There's probably a fuel screen in the tank and a filter near the tank.
