headlight wiper won't return fully
On my '93 400E (W124) my passenger side headlight wiper won't return fully to the detent (at rest) position. I have turned my wipers on and spritzed with the windshield washer numerous times to get it to go back but to no avail.
About a month ago I was cruising on the interstate and a chunk of rubber from a tire got hit by the car in front of me and hit that headlight. It busted the headlight door so I ended up having to replace it. I'm wondering if this is the cause for it not returning to home position. Any ideas?

I'd just cut it off, or bend it back to the parked position! Who's ever gonna know? Nobody ever uses those things! Their there just for looks anyway!

Flip the wiper down and behind the cover is a nut - 10mm I think. Loosen the nut, put the wiper in the park position, then tighten the nut back. Check to see if it is operating correctly.
