No A/c No Heat

No A/c No Heat

Ihave a 1992 mercedes 400e the a/c stopped working the other day when it
was really hot after day cooled the fan started to work again but only for that
day has not worked again. Idid check to see if the compressor is working and
it is also tested the switches and they all seem ok I was told it is the heater
fan but i have heard there is a resistor located somewhare in the veh that
controls the fan does onybody know where this is located and how to test
it thanks.
