just bought no manuel; how do i retract roof slk 230 2000
 
:) just bought today and have no idea what all those buttons mean. first priority is to get roof down. I push the red button, it flashes but nothing is happening. there is a smell like something is getting hot. DO i need to have trunk open? Sorry but no clue-new mb owner

there is a retractable cover in the trunk that must be in place before the roof will open. i have an owners manual if you want it, it is on cdrom, just pay shipping
