2005 C230 Kompressor service A
I have a 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor and my first service is due. On my dash it reads Service A has exceeded 100 km. I called the dealership today to make an appointment and they wanted $225.00 PLus taxes to do this service. I thought that this was way over priced. I pulled out my manual and the A service is nothing but checking the fluids, brakes, tire pressure and an oil change. I thought that I will do all the work myself. I looked under the hood and to my surprise there was no oil dipstick. So before I do anything stupid, is there anything special I should know before I do this oil change. Also if I cannot check the oil level how much oil does it take, what kind of oil should I use (ex: 5W-20) and how do I remove the service reminder off the dash?, or should I just bit the bullet and bring my car to the dealer.
Any help would be greatful.
Thanks,
Fab
