do you know where or how these fit?

1987 420sel

i'm finally getting the 87 back together but it's been a very long time since i took these 2 plastic pieces off. they come from the cabin and i think the foot well.

does anybody know how these fit. i've been trying but they just don't seem to sit flat. is 1 driver side and the other pass?

if you have any ideas i am all ears
tks for looking

Pound it to fit then Paint it to match!

I am pretty sure the one on the right goes underneath the dash on the drivers side. The one on the left goes in the same place but only on the passengers.

What H-guy said. The one on the right should be easy to get in place because of the tunnel for the steering column and the slot of the brake pedal.

If it helps, I have found that almost always, the bottom sections of these under dash panels fit first, then secured at the top.

thanks guys. that's kinda what i was thinking but i've bent the on the left almost in half and i can't quite get it to lay down right. i keep getting a kink in the middle.

there's a little stud that sure looks like it should go through it but i've not got it to lay flat enough to fit right.

well there is allways tomorrow.

thank you all
