Not stupid fuel dis. question: part two

Ok! I have determined the fuel distributor piston is leaking into the valve body via the quick test and symtoms thanks kbowers/mbdoc,and others: hard hot-start etc.. My 1st ? is I would like to replace the air dis hoses as well along w/ the lower air boot and 8 intake boots. Can I remove the throttle body w/o removing the whole intake. I had the whole unit off when I redid the heads and t-chain etc... and don't recall if the intake can split or not. Also, who can rebuild my Bosch unit w/ bosch parts or replace. This unit rebuilt is 425-650$ with core charge. How does Python compare to Bosch and, are the air valves part of the rebuilt unit. Or, would someone know of a good used replacement. The f/d is of the early-type w/o the EHA: #0438 100 087 or 088. Thanks again! les
